Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there!

I am so thankful to have an amazing husband who is also an amazing father.  Whether he is coaching soccer, going fishing or riding bikes with us, planning our next vacation, or just being there to cuddle with, Chris always manages to juggle his career and family life and is home every night for dinner and puts his family first.  Thank you Chris for all that you do for our family!

And I also want to wish my father-in-law, Val and my dad, Ismael a Happy Father's Day!  Thank you both for not only being great dads, but also great grandfathers!

I especially want to congratulate my dad for retiring in March after working hard to provide for his family for so many years!  I am so proud of him and happy that he now finally gets to relax and just enjoy life!

I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day with all of the fathers in your life!

Brody's Last Day of First Grade

Today was my big boy's last day of first grade.  I cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by.  Brody has grown up so much this year and has learned so many different things.  He had the most amazing first grade teachers and I couldn't have asked for a better class!

We are so excited to start summer vacation.  We have lots of fun things planned this summer including a couple soccer camps, vacation bible school, and so many other fun activities.  I know fall will be just around the corner and I will have to send Skylar off to preschool, but for now, I will take a deep breath and enjoy every moment I have with my babies.

Brody, we are so proud of all of your accomplishments this past year.  You worked so hard during this school year and we can see how much you have matured in first grade.  We know that God has a lot in store for you and we can't wait to see what you learn in second grade next year.  Keep up the good work!

We love you so much!
